Now open for Registration: Garden of Life training. Relationships Therapy - Creating Positive Effective Relationships (couples, siblings & friends) for Cambodian practising professional and pastoral counsellors and social workers. What is the root cause of tensions in relationships? How (skills and strategies) can we empower our clients to create positive and effective relationships? These are just two of many questions to be explored in the training.

Garden of Life Couples Workshop(Marriage Enrichment) for Cambodian married couples. In this workshop we shall explore some of the more common issues most couples face and how you can be equipped to respond to your partner in a way that creates further nurture and closeness, rather than tension and separation. This will be a non – intrusive, interactive and issue – focused workshop conducted in a relaxed style to strengthen marriage relationship. There will be translation in Khmer Language. Group Supervision August 2024 (Once a month):
Would you like to be part of a small group, to experience and to learn through professionally conducted counselling supervision? Garden of Life is commencing another Clinical Supervision Group for currently practising Cambodian counsellors, working with individuals, couples and families. This is a rare professional development opportunity with our experienced clinical supervisor, Elijah Sim, who is a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling and a recognised supervisor with the Singapore Association of Social Workers. Elijah lives and works in Cambodia. Both Khmer and English Languages will be used, as appropriate. Once a month (3 hours), IN PERSON, Six sessions only, starting on 26 August 2024. Limited to 7 participants.
In this professionally conducted monthly supervision meetings, the group supervisor will facilitate a reflective and non-judgmental group environment conducive for learning where everyone can feel safe and free to participate. Participants will also have opportunity to present their counseling practice for feedback and mutual learning. These sessions will enable participants to develop greater self-awareness and reflexivity in clinical thinking and practice, appreciate multiple perspectives in Case Conceptualizations aided by the group process, understand relational dynamics underpinning individual pathology and common presenting problems and to strengthen effective theory-practice integration and application.

Garden of Life (Uchchien Jeevit) Life is committed to training & equipping Cambodian counsellors. We are now offering internship opportunities for a limited number of beginning counsellors & social workers. This opportunity is open to eligible Cambodian graduates and students in the field of Psychology & Counseling wanting to develop their competencies in professional counseling and related skills. Areas of involvement include counselling, mental health education and administrative tasks. In addition to an allowance, you will be well supported with on-the-job training and Clinical supervision from experienced professionals for your career development. Counseling Skills & Frameworks (Advanced Course)
October 19, 20 & 21, 2022 (8:30 am – 11:30 am) and November 1, 2 & 3, 2022 (1:30 pm – 4:30 pm)
The training will be conducted by Julie Weeks from Australia & Garden of Life Training Associates. Discussions and Skills practices using case studies will be in Khmer Language only. This course is specifically designed to raise the knowledge and skills of participants who have done basic counselling courses and are already involved in counselling/ therapeutic work.
Living Wholeness Training

‘Living Wholeness’ is a unique counseling framework integrating Psychology and Theology facilitating to work with believers and non believers alike. The personal transformation of the helper is seen as central to the helping process.

Basic Coaching Skills Training (in Khmer language)
July 17-19, 2019
The training will be conducted by Susan Smith, accredited CRM trainer, using the internationally popular C.O.A.C.H. model (translated and well used in Khmer Language). Certificates will be awarded. Acceptance will be on first come first served basis.
Caring for Your Mental Health - A Christian Perspective

Principles, Practices and Process of Counseling Supervision
