GoL Vision Statement:
We are called to bring widespread healing among the people of Cambodia, and in doing so Cambodians will “flourish” and live their life to the fullest.
Interpretation: We strive to assist and equip the people of Cambodia to live a wholistic life in balance and joy with themselves, their family, the society, the environment; being resilient people who are role-modelling goodness and love to one another.
GoL Mission Statement:
We provide professional training in counselling and access to a wide range of life enrichment services.
Interpretation: We apply documented and recognised healing treatment methods, as an alternative to the traditional and cultural healing means commonly used in Cambodia. Hence, we want to make professional counselling known and accessible to the people of Cambodia; both directly through various life enrichment services, and indirectly by equipping others to become professional practitioners.
GoL Value Statement:
Christ-Centred – doing all to worship and bring glory to Jesus Christ, we follow the lifestyle exemplified by Jesus including love, grace, mercy and compassion, bearing the fruit and empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and treasuring and protecting God’s creation.
Value of All People – believing all people are created in the image of God and all are loved by God, thus we embrace everyone as equally worthy of respect, dignity and service.
Wholistic Restoration – serving all Cambodian people towards healing and a flourishing life emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically and socially in response to God being the Great Counsellor.
